The Australian Government’s Digital Solutions Program delivered by the Australian School of Employment gives small and micro-business owners practical support to build digital skills and take action with confidence. Through the program, you can access:

  • 💡 Private Mentoring

    Access one-on-one practical support tailored to your business and personal goals. Once approved, pay the $110 Australian Government co-contribution fee to receive 5 hours of private mentoring.

    Interactive group sessions designed for small business owners wanting to build practical digital skills. These (free) workshops offer real strategies and actionable ideas you can apply in your business.

  • 👩🏻‍💻 Webinars

    Flexible online sessions that make it easier to learn from anywhere. These (free) webinars share practical insights, expert advice, useful strategies and current digital trends to help you take action in your business.

  • 🎬 Online Tutorials

    Self-paced learning resources designed to help you build knowledge over time. These (free) tutorials let you revisit key topics, strengthen your confidence and apply what you learn in your business.

How the Mentoring Works.

Getting started is simple. Submit your application, our team will confirm your eligibility and, if approved, you can access 5 hours of private mentoring and digital business support valued at $1,995 per business.

  • 📝 Step 1. Submit the Application Form

    Submit a short application so our team can review your business, confirm your eligibility and make sure the program is the right fit for your needs. The form is designed to be simple and should only take a few minutes to complete.

  • 💳 Step 2. Access your Mentoring Package

    If approved, pay the $110 Australian Government co-contribution fee to access 5 hours of private mentoring and practical digital support. If you are experiencing financial hardship, this co-contribution may be waived.

  • 🚀 Step 3. Start the Program and Grow

    Choose your mentor, book your private mentoring and access free workshops, webinars and online learning designed to strengthen your digital skills. You can then start using the support available in a way that suits your business goals!

Program Eligibility.

We work with small and micro-businesses across a wide range of industries. To be eligible for the program, your business must be for-profit and meet the following requirements:

1. Be based in New South Wales or the Australian Capital Territory

2. Have an active ABN

3. Have under 20 full-time equivalent employees

Apply for the Digital Solutions Program.

This form includes everything we need to confirm your eligibility for the program. It is the only application form you need to complete before booking your first mentoring session. The program will commence from 1 July 2026.

Digital Skills We Teach.

We teach practical digital skills that help small businesses improve the way they operate, market and grow. Support is focused on real capability building across the key digital areas that matter most in business.

    Helping small businesses understand digitalisation, identify where digital tools can improve operations and align digital decisions with business goals.

  • 📱Social Media, Digital Marketing and Selling Online

    Supporting small businesses to strengthen their online presence, create and manage websites and social media and build digital marketing strategies.

  • ⚙️ Using Business Software

    Assisting small businesses to choose and use the right software for sales, accounts and payroll, inventory and customer relationships so they can operate more efficiently. For example, setting up accounting, social media, etc.

  • 🤖 AI and Emerging Technologies

    Helping small businesses explore practical uses of AI and other emerging tools including content creation, automation, customer engagement and business insights.

  • 🔐 Cybersecurity and Data Privacy

    Supporting small businesses to identify cyber risks, improve digital safety and understand their responsibilities around protecting customer and business data.
